Applications
Flutec PC6 finds many applications in the cosmetic industry where its addition to formulations can enhance protective and film-forming properties. It is possible to obtain very stable emulsions in glycerol, diglycerol and other polyhydric emulsifying agents and it’s high solubility of Oxygen means it finds use as an products delivering oxygen to the skin, such as post laser resurfacing creams, bubble face masks, eye creams etc.
Safety, Handling and Storage
Although Flutec PC6 is considered biologically and chemically inert, good laboratory practice should be observed when handling. Flutec PC6 has an indefinite shelf life if properly stored in its original sealed container. Safety data sheets are available on request.
